How to replace rear axle?
It seems pretty easy... i have the new one out and ready to roll...it seems the only points it attaches to the car are above the springs(in the trunk, on 2 arms that extend toward the front of the car, and one arm that attacheds near the center of the car.
I cant get any of these three 'arms' loose....because the bolts are rusted on so good. I tried liquid wrench, and even a little a heat. Using a breaker bar, I've broken two 3/8" drive ratchets, and dont have the right size stuff in 1/2" drive.
If I get these off, it looks like I;d only need to disconnect the e-brakes (how do i do that? i see a spring...but am unsure of the proper technique) and the brake lines (never done this before either...do i need any special tools...or is it straight forward?)
I assume that's it??? Any input or hints i should know?

you are referring to the russell link and the trailing arms. i would just use air tools on them....they are bolts and are threaded in, they will thread out.....and use more heat...like a oxyacetelene torch...should do the trick
