Hi
I have a 1996 Maxima. I did the test to check code for reason MIL Light came on. Got code 05-03. Which is front right 02 Sensor. Anybody have any experience checking this out or replacing this? Where's the best place to get one?
Thanks Greg Martin

First, reset the ECU and see if it comes back. If it does, then replace it.

You forgot to tell him to reset it first and see if it came back.

Some owners report that Nissan replaced the Oxygen Sensors on their '96 Maximas at no cost, even though their car was far past the normal warranty. This was because the original equipment sensors were defective. Please check with your dealer before buying anything. Favorite saying: Don't Ask, Don't Get!
