Help!! Car wont start.....

So i put a new trans., radiator, water pump, and a thermostat in yesterday, and after i was done the car started right up. So this morning as i get ready for class i go to start up the car and its dead but all of the lights work it just doesnt crank. Could the starter have gone bad?, or should i put it on charge for a longer period of time. I was jumping it from my expedition and left it there for about 15 minutes, and yet theres nothing.

you sure you connected the solenoid switch to the starter, firmly?

i re-checked the plugs and since i dont have a fuse tester i basically took them out and swapped a few of them but still nothing. It does click though, but it doesnt crank, could it be the ignition switch itself??

Solenoid Switch to the Starter...what color would it be, and where is it located...pics would be helpful.

I gotta run to class, so if theres anything else i need to check please let me know. I really dont want to get it towed down to my shop in elizabeth but if there's nothing else to it i guess i have to.

Don't get the vehicle towed anywhere just yet.

After class, count to 10 and revisit what you did yesterday.

I suspect you can diagnose the problem and resolve it yourself with a little help from the board.

Did you sand the mating surfaces of trannsmission/engine/starter to look like brand new metal? Even if this is not your problem THIS THREAD covers every other reason as well.

Sucks huh. My starter is toast as of today. It's been gradually slowing over the last week. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes is turns very slow. Now after boosting it for 15 mins to buying a brand new battery, to no avail, I'll be backing in and parking on hills til I get a new one.
