spring binding

so i installed (for a second time) a kyb strut mount into my front right assembly two-three days ago. today i noticed that the spring was binding. the wierd part was, it only binds on right hand turns, and you can only hear clicking/binding right before youve cut the wheel completely to the right. so my questions are: what causes the spring to bind? the little bearing thing? or something else? and how bad is a little bit of binding. ive been at jury duty for 2 days now, have day 3 tomorow so i dont have time to call KYB and ***** or to go to the dealer and get one and put it in...and now i have class in 15 minutes so ill add more later + pics or kyb mount #1 that came out.

noone knows what causes the spring to bind?

+ here are pics front the 1st kyb mount i put in. (yes, i now know they suck.)

cant really see it, but the hole is rounder than it should be. which means when i put this one in, it still knocked. which i assume is what eventually led to the chip out of the bearing thingy.

going to call KYB tomorow or friday and *****. hopefully under warentee ill get my money back. but probably not. theyll probably just give me new ones if that.
