I read the sticky and tried the reset- no go.

But the airbag light is not blinking- it is constant on.

Help!

 

Stupid question, but was the car ever in an accident? or did the airbag light just turn on one day?

 

i got the same problem. i bought my maxima like that and havent touched it...funny because i work at a nissan dealer, but too lazy to clear it.

you need to take it to a dealer to click it though.

or if you know someone with a scanner that does airbags, they can clear it. i know mac makes one and so does snap on.
