Has anyone tried to re-wire one of the breaklites to stay on like the Jag, Audi or Porche?

ok, 3 questions...

1. Exactly which "break"light stays on? (I think you meant "brake"...)

2. What purpose does this serve? Seriously, I have no idea what you're talking about.

3. Why would you want your car to do that? You don't drive a Jag, Audi or Porsche do you?

Ans..
1. Some European cars such as the ones I mentioned b4, have a feature that keeps one break lite "on", or one red lite on the bumper. It's been called a rear foglite.
2. Purpose? Foggy, rainy or snowy day...your rear can be "seen".
3. Be different(thats what customizing is all about). If I drove 1 of the above vehicles, I would already have it & I would not ask nor be a Maxima Enthusiast.
Peace.

ok Manny...

So I guess this light is much brighter than the regular tail lights? Wouldn't it kinda look like you're hitting your brakes if someone was behind you in heavy rain or fog?
Also, you mentioned the bumper, so I suppose you would want to mount it pretty low (read: body work)?

I need to go out and look for this extra taillight tomorrow cuz now this is interesting. Do the A4's have it, cuz one of the guys at work has a '99 A4 Quattro. I guess I'll find out!

BTW you're a fanatic now Manny, say it LOUD!
