Will a Hi flo cat add any extra power to my 96? My mods are Stillen intake, Y-pipe, and a Dynomax muffler. The intake, and especially the Y-pipe made decent power. The muffler on the other hand, only added a deeper exaust note. At 71000 miles the car runs great, and has been trouble free so far.

 

If the cat is the exact same pipe dia and your stock one is okay, then no, not much power gain. But I believe the RT cats are slightly larger and match the Cattman Y a little better, theremore slight gains can be achieved. At least for the 3-gens this is the case. If you have a Stillen Y, your on your own.

The Y-pipe fit perfectly to the stock cat, so the RT cat should fit fine. My friend has one on his 91 240sx, and recomended I get one. I just need to know if anyone has one on their Max and recomends it.
