Energy Suspension Motor Mounts - HELP!!!

I am doing a motor swap in my 97. Motor has 4,175 mi, carfaxed, and the tranny was just rebuilt. Everything is out of the car and all I am waiting on is the clutch (ACT 6 puck sprung) and getting these damn motor mounts in. I have the motor mounts out of the car, unbolted from the sub-frame and cannot get the old p.o.s. mounts out. They are completely cooked. I've tried pressing em out but cannot find anything to fit the o.d. on the motor mount bracket. I just can't get the old rubber and outer ring out. Should I use a torch (oxy-acetylene, mapp, or propane???), an air hammer....sawz-all??????? I've heard of people burning em out but I don't want the fluid bursting. I am so close to getting my car back on the road but its the stupid small crap thats holdin me back. PLEAAASSSEEE HELP!!!!!!

Its a 20 ton hydraulic press. Where should I call to have someone press it out? Just an automotive shop?

I dont know how the motor mounts are but on my LCA bushings I used an air chisel just stuck the chisel to the ring and went at it. It eventually budged freely. Might want to try that. Or just take it to a automotive shop that does complete repairs.

I recently watched Merlyn's (both name and name on the org) 'mechanic' press ES motor mounts in his 5.5 gen. Basically, use an air chisel to knock the 'lip' off of one side of the motor mount shell (stock uses rubber inside a metal casing, this has lips on both sides presumably to hold it in place). Then he just took the oxyacetylene torch and set them on fire, scraped out the remainder of the burnt rubber, then knocked out the metal casing.

From there it was just a matter of pressing in the new mounts. Merlyn's car seems to have lost most of its wheelhop just from putting these in.

cool. thanks a lot guys. I just took out most of the rubber with my handy new sawz all. I wont have access to an oxy acetylene and torch and an air chisel for a few days but thats what I figured would be best. I went down to pep boys and the dude told me it would $50 a piece to have the old ones taken out. I laughed at him. He was just being a d!ck. Anyway, I will hook that **** up and by then i'll have my clutch and be ready to break this motor in. Also, what do you think the easiest way to pull off an underdrive pulley would be without air tools and without the motor on the tranny? (it just turns the crank when i go to torque it) Is it bad to wedge something against the block and the ring gear like a big crowbar? thanks again guys, needed a point in the right direction.
