1995 max antenna problem

My antenna just stopped moving (currently fixed at "on" position, wouldn't go down). All I hear is a grinding noise when I turn on the radio. Can anyone help me find a link (or post) to installing a new antenna (also, part numbers for rod/mast and rope)? Step by step guide would be really great. Pics would be even better. Thanks guys.

grinding means the motor is def still working. thats a good thing, grinding means you may be wearing the teeth off, thats bad. for about five bucks you can get a new mast, unscrew the top of the antenna (where it attached to the car on the outside) pull the old mast out, turn on your radio, feed new mast in, and turn off your radio (it will pull the line down) screw on top and your set
