Stalling issue... still
Okay, I'm making this thread to ask two things mainly:
Anyone in the Central NJ Area have a MAF I can swap in to test?
and
Is it even worth a try?
My issue is still a stalling problem, it hesitates on acceleration, sputters, and smells very strongly of gas. The stalling isn't constant, I can still take my car places it just sucks at stops, and runs like S***.
I've run out of ideas, I've tried the plugs twice, new fuel filter, FPR, cleaned the TB/IACV, check Fuel Injector Resistances and leaks, ran lots of techron, changed air filter, PCV Valve, new Battery, oil change, new TPS, readjusted base idle, readjusted TPS voltage, regrounded MAF sensor. Basically a major tune up.
No codes, no ghost codes. Only problem with the car atm is a ****ty exhaust that's busted (broken, bpipe/muffler not connected) but I'm hesitant to put the new one on because I don't want the smell of fuel (indication of running rich, and proven by old burnt out plugs that were ussd for maybe 1-2,000 miles) to cause high EGT and melt out my new cat/muffler.
