I know that the timing chain is stronger than the belts and u don't really have to worry bout it but I checked and changed my accessory belt I noticed that pulley was a tad bit warped.... what I'm trying to get at is my car has a mean hum kinda sound like chewbocca from star wars at idle and cold starts..... nobody can figure it out but the only thing I can say left is the timin chain...

What do u guys think it could b.....
Was told by not to worry that maximas just make noise but it still bothers me

 

are you talking about the crank pulley being bent? if thats the case then just replace it. not quite sure what you are talking about.

 

Have no idea what that is but the pulley is silver off to left of the engine and it looks like it drives the accessory belt

 

The only pullies that aren't accessories are crank and tensioner, which one?

 

If I had to choose I would tensioner any other maximas make the chewbocca sound
