!!Constant Squeek!!

I hear a constant squeek when I am going slow with the windows down. It seems to be coming from the rear passenger side wheel. My brakes are only about 4 months old and they look great. I assume that the squeek is still there at high speeds but I just can't hear it because of the exhaust. Does this sound anything like a bearing or something like that?

I posted this a while back and no one gave me any feedback. Any ideas what this could be? Bearing? Breaks? I have no clue. The breaks were changed and it still does the same noise.

If it's constant both while braking and while coasting, then do this:

Remove the wheel, remove the rotor, and look for a stone or pebble that got lodged somewhere in there. I had one that got stuck behind my front brake rotor and it drove me nuts until I could find it.

I am having the same problem too, but I was suggested to change the pads.

I hope it is not a bad bearing or anything. Actually, I think it happens mostly when I've been driving for a few. I guess when it is HOT.

Pads have a metal tab attached designed to squeal when they're worn out.

The OP's brake pads were very new so I assumed he would check those when removing the rotor.

bearings tend to make a groan/rumble type sound. You failed to mention but is it in any way affected by using the brakes? If it is constant and not affected by using the brakes follow deegeesman post.If it is effected by pushing the pedal I would suspect either A: very cheap pads B: someone throwing pads on and forgetting about it, meaning they didn't properly clean and lube everything, all the caliper/pad attachment points need to be sanded/wire-brushed, sprayed with brake cleaner, then anti-squeal needs to be applied, the guide pins need to also be cleaned and re-greased with special grease. Usually with A you also have B. If it is constant and not affected by using the brakes follow deegeesman post.

jack the car up and check it out first, shake & spin the wheel.
