Tranny Issues

Tranny Issues

As the Title states im having issues with "transmissions" for my 95 GLE.i am on my 3rd dead tranny i lose all gears except 1st and reverse and also when the tranny worked fine it goes all the way to redline before the tranny shifts out of 1st. i have changed the tranny computer still no change. so 4th gen pros please assist

sounds like your tourqe converter, like does it stay in first.. redline... then shifts really hard?.. if you thats your tourqe converter

had the same freakin problem the only thing i can see is gettin a aftermarket Trans cooler since the factory runs through the radiator id be willing to bet they build up deposits and limit the amount of fluid going through them after time just a theory but it makes sense and hell a TC cooler is like 68 bucks for a motorhome/RV trannycooler which is veryefficent and well do the job not to mention alot cheaper then throwing tranny after tranny in

does it ever down shift when you don't want it to while you get up to speed?
