seat motor wearing out

Ive got a 97 se w/ all the power options. Lately the drivers side seat adjustablity has been losing its "spunk." It doesnt seam to have enough power to move and I think the motor is wearing out.

Has anyone else encountered this, and how did you fix it? The seat itself is in good condition and Im hoping that I can get a motor from a junker or wrecked car and swap the motor out.

Not o ***** your thread but I'm having a similar problem. My drivers seat only goes back on the left side. the right of the seat never moves. I took the seats out to check for loose change but I couldn't find anything. I did find that there is a little connecting cable that spins the 2 motors that are on the seats. My cable somehow broke.
Went to the stealership, no way to get just a motor. You have to get the whole seatpan. It's like 4 or 500 bucks.
