Number of Oxygen Sensors for 1998

I'm throwing 0707 and 0510 codes (rear o2). Want to know how many o2 sensors there are for the 1998 model (production date 7/97)? The parts guy said 4 but I remember 3 only from the FSM. Thought only the 99's had 4..

Aren't you running a modified 96 ecu?

"0510 is TPS related." EDIT whoops no it isn't - I was thinking P0510

Are you running a zirconia or titania type rear o2 sensor?

f550maranello2,
I know the fronts and rears are different. I was wondering if the right rear and the left rear are the same one..

eng92,
I took out the TS ecu and swapped back in my stock one for emissions testing as I was getting the lone 0707 code. Now I've got both codes with the stock ecu so hopefully just a coincidence. The one I just bought is 4-wires I think that's zirconia. The searches I've done mentioned nothing about the TPS for the 0510 code..

My bad - I already edited my post - I was thinking P0510.

Did you change the ECU pins for the rear O2 sensor pins back to stock when you swapped ecus?

Yup. I figured I'd swapped the wires back over after I passed emissions now I'm thinking if I had the rear o2 code all along maybe that one 0707 code on the TS ecu would've been absent if I knew the sensor when caput.

Where you able to get any extra pins?

Sweeet bonka. When i get my JWT ECU..wanna help me get rid of my rear 02 code if i get it If you needed a rear 02 i could have probbaly hooked you up with one. I think mine was about 80-90$. Might have been cheaper dont remember. Im not even running one right, now because my WS had no spot for it. (designed for 95-96). So im throwing PO136 lol.
How did you like the technosqaure ecu, i was going to run it actually. But decided on the JWT ECU...i wish i could have found an 5spd jwt ecu though

Thanks Chris for the offer I knew I could count on you for a discount but my insurance expires on Saturday and need to pass aircare before then so I need at least a couple of days to pack on the mileage before I bring it in and I was in a rush so I went to the closest dealer to my house.

The TS ECU is probably the best performance mod I've done to the car. The difference between running it and without it is night and day. Best money spent so far.
