problem w/ brake light on
Lately these past couple of days, when I turn my car on in the morning around 8am, my brake light stays on for a good 10 minutes then it goes away and doesn't come back until the following morning. My front rotors and pads are gone, I've ordered parts but I'm just wondering is it something else?

ummm, most liekly not, change out ur pads, then see if the light is still there ( cuz since the pads are gone, more brake fluid needs to be pushed, therefore triggering the sensor and it tells you, that you need new pads)

Ok, I have a question, do you think my rotors need to be changed? What are some signs that would lead me to believe so? I got this car w/ 70k on it and now I have about 88k. The pads were replaced two years back and the rotors were resurfaced. The rotors were never changed and I believe, when I bought it came with new rotors and pads.

Hair line cracks are obvious, if you see glazing or spots were its obvious the pad is not making contact with the rotor or high points (spots) it maybe time to change, if u have them cut the mechanic should be able to tell you if the rotor is warped or has high/low spots.

Does the steering wheel vibrate when braking from highway speeds? That is a sign of warped rotors. Check your fluid level for the brake light. When pads go bad they should squeal.
