RE: Stillen exhaust...

Its loud, so if you're looking to attract attention its for you. They HKS exhuast is supposed to be very good and powerful for the money. I believe www.CustomMaxima.com has a special on them - or atleast they had one. Also, I believe A'pexi has one thats pretty good. You might want to check them out. A y-pipe will make all of the louder though - but they add good performance too and most people have and love them.

I dont know if this is the same part or not but www.custommaxima.com is going to have a sale on the STILLEN B-pipes really soon. If you can wait I know you will save some money. If it is the same part.

Why did you even comment on this if you never heard the sound of a stillen exhaust? "no offense all of you people witht he stillen exhaust, I'm sure you like it. But, Ive hears it is very ricey"

that should have never been in your comment. Just tell the person about the hks exhaust and be done with it.

I just put on my Stillen Y-pipe today and it does make the car louder, but not as loud as I was hoping it would. It is NOT RICY!!!!!!! It has a deep rumbeling sound - like a lion who has had his tail stepped on. It isnt as loud as the CAI(yet, still need a cat-back system) but is definatley noticeable. I will go to our local track this friday and tell you guys how much it dropped off my 1/4 by adding a PR CAI, Stillen Y-pipe and a RT Cat. What is the loudest b-pipe to buy? If I want to throw on dual exhaust will the B-pipe be a problem if I get the Stillen one? I dunno, I just want it louder.

The Stillen exhaust isn't very loud. It has a deep, mellow tone. It has a dull drone at around 2500rpm, but nothing close to a buzzing Honda exhaust. People are always surprised at how quiet my Stillen exhaust is. I guess anybody who says that their Stillen exhaust is loud doesn't have it bolted on tight enough.

Wow - a custom dual cat-back system really livened up my exhaust. Sounds like a V-8 mustang when it idles and it stays deep until about 4500 rpms where it starts to kind of clank(?). It makes a really loud noise at that time - I dont know how to describe it. Im probably going to have a turbo tube put in after the cat to take that part of the exhaust out and quiet it down a little - Im afraid of getting a noise violation when I get my new tint job on the 30th of july.(going with 10% all around) I just dont want any hassels.
