Safe to use Run-Brite?
I was at VIP auto center yesterday getting my F150's fuel system treatment. They use strong stuff - RunBrite. Apparently in that truck they couldn't spray inside the IAC valve to get the grime off - there is a sticker that says not to use cleaners or solvents because it could ruin seals and gaskets. So I basically spent $70 on a fuel additive.
I want to know if it is OK to use that stuff in a 4th gen. Has anyone had their fuel and intake system cleaned at a shop? It seems that everyone is offering such service now and they all say their stuff is the best. Is there an alternative for DIY?
thanks!!

spray some (seafoam) into the TB then wipe it out. Then take off your brake booster line and spray about half the bottle in there while the car is running. Then turn the car off and let it sit about 10 minutes. Then turn the car on and go have some fun blinding people behind you with white smoke.

Do a search on it, you will find mixed results. IMO as long as it does not hurt your car, and feel like taking the chance that it might help you. Im considering it but still unsure about it myself.
