problems removing old front brake rotors

Hi, I need some advice pulling out the old front rotors. They seem to be pretty old at least 30k old. They are just stuck and don't want to come out. I tried putting some wd40, but I don't they helped too much. What should I do?

There should be a threaded hole inbetween the lugs. Put a 10mm bolt in it and tighten it, it will push the rotor off.

IF you don't plan on reusing the rotors, but out the hammer

I have new rotors, do I don't need the old rotors. Where do I hammer on the rotor, from the behind? Isn't metal to metal bad?

if you are planning on new rotors, why would you need your old ones?

Just hit the rotorsf rom the back. I just recently changed mine and with one pop from the back they popped out.

If the bolt threading idea doesn't work...

An air hammer would be the easiest (and loudest) solution. That said, I've banged them off with a sledge hammer before. You can try hitting it from the back but I don't think you'll get enough of a swing. I hit them from the front and it just breaks them loose. Try a carpenter's hammer on the area around the lug studs (put lug nuts on the studs so you don't ruin a stud by banging it with a hammer) and use a torch on it if you have one to get it good and hot, if the carpenter's hammer and heat don't bust it loose then slam it with the sledge.

Thx guys for ur help, the hammer did the trick. I love my brakes now, hawk hps and brembo rotors are a good combo. No sound what so ever and very smooth.
