Car bra on a max

Normally i would never put an ugly car bra on my baby but now im debating whether a scratched up front end is better or worse than a car bra. I dont have enough money for a body shop and the money that i do get i would rather spend on stuff i actually want (just bought illuminas, new springs, rotors, calipers, and a bunch of other stuff). Anyway just wanted to know if anyone has pics of a car bra on a max or has any other suggestions. Again i dont really wanna go over 100 bucks on this cuz again im going for the stuff i need over the cosmetic stuff - at the same time tho i want it to look as good as possible.

I just used the piece on the hood most of the time. It seemed to take more abuse than the bumper for some reason.

yeah. it does mess up the paint. I remember when my mom had one on her 94 pontiac grand am. It was nasty under there. So if you get it then make sure you take it off when you clean your car or when it rains. I almost went that route till I got another hood for my max. [now awaiting paint!]

listen to wut everyone is saying, they mess your hood up bad!!!!!!, i had one on my max and scratched my damn hood up, not to mention the front of the hood started to rust up too. If i were u, stick with the minor faults u got on your hood now, the bra will just make it worse.

1. Looks like ****
2. Kills the paint under the bra...think of the sunroof visor and the ring that is left behind from that. It will be just like that just 10x bigger.

No offense taken by me for any of the comments. My car is for me and I like it. Besides it was a $2500 car that had been beat pretty severely before I bought it and the front end needs to be rebuilt still.

I used to see clear paint protector. It's a clear films that is pre-cut for you car. I tried to searched it, but only came up with 5th gen. Here's a sample link:

I think that's the same stuff they put on at tint shops.. Dupont brand maybe. If I ever buy a brand new/almost new car I may go that route.
