What is it with warm weather and our cars?

It get nice out, feel like crusing around in the MAX and all of a sudden sh*t starts piling up that needs to be fixed, ahem:

-CV axles need replacement asap (waiting on parts from the mail)
-Leaking rear drivers side strut (a PITA to get to)
-Rear drivers side pad worn out (Annoying as hell when braking)
-Oxidation conquers stock Y pipe (it looks like a rat chewed through the mesh weave, time for an aftermarket SS Y-Pipe)

i guess it could be worse anyone else notice that summer is when things start to go to hell?

I live in the desert and my only summer complaint is that the AC can't keep up with the NM sun.

Ok window shopping for Y-Pipe + hi Flow cat

Since my stock y-pipe and cat are officially DOA I'm gonna get an aftermarket set I know this subject has been discussed to hell and back but I need some feedback, I found this on eBay:

WARPSPEED 1995-1998 MAXIMA EXHAUST Y PIPE & HI FLOW CAT $285 shipped, good deal or not?

I'm looking for something quiet (if I get bees in a can I will go ape sh*t cuz that sorta thing pissed me off when johnny zerocool pulls up in his ghetto-ricer honda) I plan to use my stock muffler (or at least go junk yard hunting for a new one), if anyone can hook me up with a better deal PM me.

For the 8354th time...yes it is a good deal but you get what you pay for. You may get bees in a can sound over time as the pipe ages and theres nothing you can do about it. If you want a good y-pipe and cat combo sack up and spend the extra $$ and go with Cattman. As long as you stick with a stock muffler you should not get any louder...

after reading the $1125 pricetag for a full cattman set (no group deals?!, bummer ), "bee's in a can" doesn't sound so bad

What is the high flow cat going to do for you, particularly if you aren't into noise?

Go with a stainless steel Budget y-pipe and OEM muffler.

I live in Phoenix AZ. I had a car from AZ (for probe) ..with no probs. I went to Texas and my fuel filter went out, shortly after I had a few misc problems (radiator cracked, hose busted).. Basically it was a good car - but you should feel lucky. The minute the humidity came out in Texas my car started running like it was drowning..... it ran, but god that thing sure isn't running well today.

The guy I sold it to took it for 600, complained that there wheren't any speakers and the suspension was shot. That son of a...

Just feel lucky to have a car, feel more lucky if you don't live in the humidity. GL everyone.

Yeah, It's been so hot in Vegas My ouside temp registered 125 F. on the strip stuck in traffic.
I have a system of exhaust fans in my engine compartment I use on the hot summer days. I have 4 in the engine bay and 1 on the tranny ol cooler and 1 on the engine oil cooler. Most of the time I can run the A/C and keep water temp below 225 F.
