Here is a weird thing that happens maybe 3 to four times a year. I will get in the car turn the ignition and NOTHING happens. I then turn the key on to where the radio may work or one crank to start . put the car into drive then back to park . car starts up just fine after that. This has happened to me for years but just wondering WHY and if anyone had this peoblem.

 

sounds like either a bad neutural safety switch (which tells it if the car is in park) or a bad ignition switch.
