Just finished putting 02 spec-v speakers in my 95 GXE
My friend with an 02 Sentra Spec-V upgraded his speakers and gave me his old ones, I was delighted to find out they are the EXACT same speakers for the rear (even the same part number), and the fronts fit with minor modifications.
They're 20w, versus the '95s 15w. My factory speakers were so shot, I have no idea how they even made discernable notes with no cone material.
In order to install the fronts, I had to clip the connector off (it almost fit snug, probably could with enough effort but I was tired of fooling with it) and solder on new leads for the speaker which only took a few minutes. Then drill two holes since they're 3bolt vs the factory 4bolt. Other than that, everything fits fine and sounds a lot better than my old wore out junk.
Heres a pic with a spec-v speaker (left) compared to my '95 GXE's speaker (right). The rears just looked exactly like the factory '95 speaker, except for the little center paper cone being deleted from the new ones.
