Help: Stupid metal bar put a hole in my gas tank

I was driving along the road then all of a sudden i see this metal pipe laying on the road. I didn't have enough time to avoid it, and now all my gas is gone. AHH!!!!
How much do you think it will cost me to fix it?

I have JB Welded a gas tank as well. Held up for 8 years. I knew a guy who JB welded a quarter over a crack in his 240Z head and it was still lasting, 16 years at last count.

Putting in a new tank is a hell of a lot more pain than just patching the hole if it's a small hole. Fiberglass kit. use at least 2 or 3 layers of fiberglass, with adequate resin in each layer. make sure you clean and rough up the surface around the crack and overlap plenty.

Yeah, second to fiberglass/epoxy thing. It's PITA to replace the gas tank.
