Summit RPM Switch Question

Everythings working fine. its wired straight to the battery terminals. The red light is on and im wondering if its okay for it to always be on? I just dont want the battery to drain or anything like that... I tried wiring it to some fuses just to see if it would only turn on with the key on, but none of the ones i tried work...so is it ok?

That little thing isn't going to drain your battery The security light blinks intermittently all the time as well.

In order to get it to turn on only when the key is in, try the cigarette lighter. I had mine directly to the battery for many years w/o any problems whatsoever.
