Need a quiet free flowing muffler, any ideas?

I am looking for mufflers. I need something that is quiet but still free flowing and nonrestrictive. I know the Apexi WS catback is quiet but they dont make a WS muffler. I need some ideas. Thanks.

For the quietest/best performing mufler, I'd recommend the Dynomax Super Turbo. Next I'd recommend MagnaFlow (straight through design but slightly louder). Good luck with your decission/purchase.

I just installed the 5th gen muffler on my 97
I'm inpressed with the performance and sound. Here's my setup: Homemade cone intake, Stillen Y-pipe, Stock Cat, Courtesy B-pipe, and 5th gen Muffler. I think on a stock system, the muffler will not free up much power. But in conjunction with the other things I've added, I think the muffler added 3 Hp on the low end (2,000-3,000 RPM) and 5Hp on the top end. My car sounds deeper than stock, but not louder. It growls when I start the car and when I punch the gas, but sounds like stock under normal driving conditions. I can't wait to dyno my car. I've seen a 97 Maxima with a similar setup that yeild 192 HP to the wheels.

I think you mean 192 lbs of torque.

I have a Arospeed Muffler and it is great.. It is very free flowing. You can feel that the muffler expels alot of air and it is not loud at all. Contact me if you want more info.
