Shuddering

I apologise if I am being somewhat vague with this, but I dont know exactly where to begin to fix it - so here goes..

I'll be doing 80km/h or so (50mph), and i'll be accellerating a bit while turning to change lanes. I get a shuddering feeling coming through the steering wheel and through the chassis. The car has always done this, and I really wonder what it is. It only happens when steering and accelerating at the same time. It wont do it at WOT and low throttle, only at half throttle. RPM's are around 4000 or so.

I know this is a vague one, but I'm wondering if its one of those odd but common problems someone has a simple fix for.

I'm thinking its either tranny or diff problems but am uncertain.

Thanks everyone..

Check your tie rods.Check the inner tie rod as well as the tie rod ends.Jack front wheels off ground then with steering wheel locked grab the tire on the front side and rear side and try to wiggle it back and forth. If you feel any play at all it's time to change tierods.
