filling my motor mounts...

Alright i'm filling my motor mounts with the 80a shore polyurethane mix from mcmaster-carr. I gutted most of the rubber from my front and rear mount and got it all set up so none would leak out since I read there was barely enough liquid to fill both mounts. I get halfway through the first mount when i notice there isnt a whole lot of poly left, so i panicked and started filling the rear mount thinking i'd come up with some thing to fill in some space in the middle. So both mounts are like 85 percent full and i'm thinking maybe i need to order some more polyurethane.
But the first order cost me 30 bucks....and a second order would mean 60 dollars spent. Plus the 12ish dollars spent at the junkyard to get spare mounts to gut. I got the impression inserts were well over 100 bucks so i'd be saving alot of money but now i'm seeing adds on ebay where they are going for 85 bucks shipped.

oh and look "$5 refund for quality photos of this item installed."

I hate to bring this up once again, but can someone remind me again why so many people went to the trouble to fill their mounts rather than just buy the inserts? I'm sure anything is going to be better than what I had considering both mounts were so badly torn the rods werent even connected to the rubber anymore.
I'm afraid that this poly isnt going to be strong enough or its going to rip or something...somebody reassure me lol.

Go to home depot and get "window weld" to finish up or start over again.

i thought people advised against window weld? Why couldnt I just buy more poly and fill it the rest of the way? this **** has to set out for like a week anyway.

Energy mounts only work on manual mounts, if you have the front "electronic" mount it won;t work but if will work on any rear mount.

I didn't think about that..but a rear mount isn't that hard to get. But yeah then I gotta factor in for all that hassle to get it.
I've decided I'm just gonna pour this stuff the rest of the way but now I'm worried about the 2nd (newer) layer adhering to the one that's already hard.
