Climate Control Bulbs

Looks like my manual climate control lights are out. Actually it's just the button lights. The bottom still lights green to let me know which button was selected.

What's the best way to resolve this issue?

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about-

replace the bulb. look in the stickies if you dont know how to take it apart. its just one incandescent bulb that lights all those buttons. i might have it still laying around when i switched mine to a red led

Did you try checking in the manual?

Same happened when I bought my car. I got some LEDs with resistors and soldered them up and no problems ever since.

Take your unit apart and look at the bulb(s). Then go to Radio Shack and see if replacement bulbs (part #7219 ~$2.50 for two bulbs) will work for you. These bulbs worked in my auto climate control and other switches. You may have to super glue the blue cover back onto the bulb holder since these bulbs are probably smaller than your factory bulbs.

I checked the stickies and wasn't able to find anything. It does however show how to change to LED's but I'm just looking to change a bulb and be done with it.

I'm guessing it's not as simple as I think it would be.

The AUTO / ECON / OFF part of my climate controls (automatic) are burnt out also. Can you tell me how you made it behind the actual buttons?
