Isn't it true that the 130 (give or take 1?) mph rating on H rated tires means that they are made to do that for 1 hour straight? I thought I remember reading that on tirerack.com or something. Just checking.

the reasons for speed limiters well for one is to prevent the cars from going over the speed ratings of the tires... like the camaro has a speed limiter unless u get the Z rated tires... and most euro cars have the limiter set at 155

Ok since no one else is representing us 3rd Generation Types I thought I would add my 2 cents.. Taken mine all the way up to 145 (at least that is what the speedo said) for about 30 second and then slowed down.. Wish I could have taken a pic of it but Im not about to drive with one hand and shoot with the other.. And yes, I do know this is the 4th Gen Forum..
