Hi, I have been checking out some cheap ways to stiffen the ride of my 95se front and back. The cheapest for the front is the FSTB, which works really well cause I had it on my 3rd gen Max, so I'am thinking it works just as well on the 4th. Also I was thinking of getting the RSTB mainly cause it's alot cheaper than RSB from Addco or Stillen. Is it really worth the money on a RSTB or should I just give and spend the $$ for the RSB.

Here is another ?? I found the FSTB on procarparts.com and streetbeat.com for like $39 bucks which is way cheaper than Courtessy and especially Stillen. How good are those cheaper versions of the Strut Tower Braces?? Did anyone buy them from either dealer.

Last one: Is there a way of using the FSTB for the rear. I noticed only FSTB for sale from StreetBeat and ProCarParts???

Thanks in advance!

The RSTB and the RSB aren't the same thing. The RSTB doesn't do anything for the Max. Get the RSB instead. For a little bit more info, read this: https://maxima.org/maxfaqs/sub_suspension/index.shtml

And all FSTB work the same. If you can find a FSTB for $40, get it. Unless you're into looks, then by all means, get an overpriced Stillen one that does the same thing as a $40 one.

RE: FSTBs...

An FSTB will only give you better handling. It will not stiffen the ride. If you are looking to stiffen the cushy ride you can do one of the following: larger wheels with low profile tires, coilovers, sprint springs. Just trying to help .

I bought the Cattman FSTB for $83, which included shipping and handling. It's a beautiful black bar with a semi-gloss ceramic material. Works beautifully and fit without much difficulty. The cheap ones look cheap. They'll probably have the same effect, though. Your call.
