Odd running problem.

Ive noticed only recently that my car runs funny in the rain. When Im driving in anywhere form a sprinkle, to a full blown storm my engine sounds like its thrown a rod, also i notice a slight power loss , like not firing on all cylinders. When this occurs there are no codes at all, other funtions of the car work normally, and the problem is intermittent. My mods include short ram intake, y-pipe, catback, strut and spring combo, and nitrous (im sure thats not the problem lol). Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
-Colin

Very strange. My car loves the rain...any more than 20% throttle during or after a rainstorm puts me back in the seat.

Dunno, maybe the amount of humidity in the air is affecting somehow ur MAF reading? Never heard of this issue before--> good luck.

Humm that could account for the missing, but the noise? This is puzzling!

I would keep checking for codes periodically-perhaps check individual coils and change your plugs. When was your last tune up?

Last tune up was 5,000 miles ago, I replaced plugs and coils. Checked the weather striping to, I cleaned it not long ago and it looked fine. Thank you for the suggestions!

Bumping in hopes someone has any diffenative answer.
