4 bolts 2 in front 2 in back then just pull it out it's pretty simple, why do you need it out?

Yep, 2 in the front and two in the rear which are covered by little plastic covers. Just pop them off and the bolts are right there.

As for things to know, there may be something plugged into the bottom of each seat so make sure you detach that before you try to rip the seat out. Even my '99 with manual cloth seats had the harness plugged into bottom of each seat, I'm assuming it's a "dummy" plug for power seats or something.

Speaking of seats, the backside of my passenger seat has a big hole in it. Anyone know if just this piece can be replaced, or is it the whole seat?

Speaking of seats, can we directly swap in front seats from a 5th gen or I30 or something else that has "good" or better quality leather?

If you mean the middle area on the back of the seat (feels cardboard-y if you tap it), then yes it does come out. Reattaching it though can be a pain from what I've seen if you don't take it out carefully.

96-99 I30 are a direct swap, 5th gen takes some work, 5.5 gen even more.
