Clutch problemss
last week the car was running perfectly, then all of a sudden the clutch had no feeling and i would have to pump it to get it in and out of gear. First thing i did was i tried adjusting the clutch..didnt do anything. So then i looked under the hood to see if there was any leaks..nothing there either. So could one of the cylinders be going bad? helppp
I have a ACT Pressure plate and clutch disc and its nothing like it should be, everyone knows how that pressure plate is...

Take your master out and test it by putting your thumb over the hose fitting. You could do this without removing the master if someone else helps you with the pedal. When mine went bad, it would not pull fluid from the reservoir when I pulled the plunger out (stuck valve inside I guess). I replaced the entire master cylinder but wish I had tried the $20 repair kit from Nissan. There is a $20 repair kit for the slave cylinder also. Keep in mind there is a second bleeder hose which can collect air and make your clutch feel less than desirable. I removed my second bleeder hose completely and plugged the brass fitting with a 3/8" (if I remember the size correctly) brass plug from Ace Hardware. You can take the brass fitting off at the top of the strut tower and take it with you to the hardware store to get a proper fitting plug. Or just bleed the second bleeder hose…but it holds a lot of fluid, takes up room, and is not needed.
