Anyone have any suggestions as how to replace the gold trim on my black maxima... GOLD emblems.... M A X I M A.... keyholes... and antenna doesnt vibe with me. I prefer the silver instead. So I solved two problems soo far, the antenna is gonna be shaved off, and the M A X I M A is already shaved off.But how bout the keyholes on the trunk and the front doors?? The Burgers will be swapped for Silver too.

 

go to a junkyard, thats definitely your best bet. Or check the for sale section for complete car part outs in your area. switching all of the trim is going to hard and expensive. I heard changing the lock on the trunk is a PITA.

 

shave it all! the trunk is as easy as to shave as the antenna and makes the rear look awesome. actually if you don't shave it i would just paint it black, but if you don't want to just get a new set of lock cylinders from the dealer. more expensive but you'll have a key.

 

By any chance...do you have the factory sawblades with the gold centers still on them?? I am missing two on my 95SE w/gold package, will buy full set or partial for a good price. If you get gold locks and antennna ring off and they are are in really good condition let me know. PM please! Doug

 

I will, but the blades are stock with no gold centers....
