so in the process of trying to shave the door handles the door closed but the latch now is broken and its staying closed anyone have any idea how to open the door

 

Can you get in through the other doors?
If it doesnt open from the inside, you probably have to take off the door panels from the inside (if thats possible) and open it.

 

simply open the other door and go in man.

 

both of u guys have useless information dont you think itried all of that what dont u understand the door itself has a locking piece and the frame as the latch the locking piece broke while the door was close and is stuck in the locked position and the door wont open at alllll i can get too the insidee but that doenst help

 

did the rod come off the latch onthe handle inside? if so you may be able to get a coat hanger or something and hook it around the rod and bring it up threw the window opening if your window is down. or you have to hook it on the accualy latch mecanizm. i did it on my s10 but there a little less complex and it was cause my battery died. i sugest getting a motorclcle battery and wiring that up to your solinoids. i think autolok sells a kit like that. trust me it seems useless tell your stuck and have to get a cop with a jimmybar to get you into your car/truck

 

yeah igotta try something wat had happened was when iwas shaving my door handles and iwas welding the piece of the latch which you know is plastic cought on fire so i guess some of it melte and it locked it in place then the door closed on me i will try something out today andupdate

How is that useless?

Anyway, something to try is to take out the passenger window switch, then put it back on. For some reason, my locks opened then closed when i disconnected it then reconnected it. (the key was in the ignition)
