Does anyone have a pic of a weapon-r intake, i looked at these though they dont have one for the maxima, i liked the idea of the polished tube under the hood, if you have a pic, especially installed, i would love to see it

Its an awesome intake....looks good in the engine bay, i got the chrome blue one....they even send you blue hoses....very professional looking intake....very intimidating too as it looks like its taken over half the bay....sounds like a 4barrel carb at WOT whisper quite otherwise....seems to make the car rev quicker and give it a lil more ummpphhh.....all in all i like it a lot....You are talking about the DRAGON right?

VinnyD, do you have both the Weapon R dragon filter and chrome pipe or just the dragon filter? If you have both, how did you get the pipe to fit in the engine bay? How much did you pay for it? Thanks.

btw, here's a link to some pics of the intake:

weapon R intake

VinnyD, is this ram cold air system a full kit or an add on to weaponr. Is it the same as the Place racing CAI. Any idea on the price. would you have to cut your car with a saw to add this mod. Is it availlable for our maxima now.
Is there a costumer service#. Thanks for the info

Re: Re: weapon R intake

wow, this intake looks fancy, the honda weapon-r is jst like a stick-it-on-the-end type intake but the one for us looks like it is two pieces, 1 b4 the maf and then an adapter to the filter after it, looks nice, i think i may have to get one

How much did you pay for the entire kit? How hard is it to install? Thanks.

I dont have a weapon-R dragon intake, just found a picture somewhere......I like it a lot because it looks nice and eliminates the RESTRICTIVE entire stock intake tubing, which should provide a little more power gain over the JWT or the Stillen. I'm not to fond of the dragon filter itself, mainly because its made of foam......I am looking into different intake options for my maxima....if I do decide to get the weapon-r dragon intake...I would buy a K&N 3" cone and sell the dragon filter...the dragon filter is $70 if you purchase it separetly...

i could get the tubing without the filter and keep my jwt...that would be nice?

does any one know specifics or can they get specs on the weapon r intake tube?...mabey someone who has one can measure it and those of us with the restrictive box can rpelace it with pvc tubing or something....kinda do our own mod...what do you all think...

Is it in any way possible to still keep the JWT intake and fit in on the weapon r pipe?

I email some online store the other day and they were charging $188 for both the weapon r filter and intake.

I was thinking about making my own intake tube also, using pvc or something......Place Racing also sells an upper intake tube, goes form the TB to the MAF...I emailed them yest, hopefully they will get back to me soon about a price....should be around $50-70...

this has the weapon-r piping with obx intake, so i guess you can also use the jwt intake.
