Springs

Ive been running those springs for about a year and half now.. I have been very happy with em. If i have complaint, its that they didnt lower the car quite enough. Other than that... i love em. They maintain a near stack ride, Im still useing the stock se struts and they are holding up great so far. I can also say that my max NEVER scrapes on anything. I hope this helps... i can e mail a pict if you want more info.

Could you mail me the Pic please that'd be greatly appreciate it Vudoo13@optonline.net. I have a GXE model, SE models stock are lower than the GXE model am i correct? did it make much of a difference in lowering? or did it just bascially look the same as before meaning is it noticable? and since i have a GXE would that just make it look like an SE's suspension? Thanks.

The SE and GXE have the same ride height. The springs are noticable. the are in no way looks too low or slammed. It looks like the way it should have come from the factory. Whare i live the streets are pretty bad so i like the fact that i dont have to worry too much about dips and speed bumps ect. Ill try to email you those picts tonight.

the progress springs handle noticably better than stock. Also the ride is firmer but not by much. Most people wouldnt even know you had em. As far as my ride goes... it was all good untill i got my 18's. now its hella harsh.. but thats the price I paid for good looks.

Just wanted to give my input. But I've used Progress on my old car (not a nissan) and I would say they dropped the car more than what the manufacturer says. It was supposed to be 2.25" but it was actually 2.5" when I measured it. I think the problem with Progress was that some of the coils touched each other when the car settles. I'm not sure why it does that and I don't think it's suppose to do that. As far as performance and ride quality, they were definitely firmer ride as compared to stock but not too bad considering how much of the drop it was. Performance wise, cornering was a lot better compared to stock but I also had Toks for shocks. All in all, I was pretty happy with them.

Spring Springs...

I just ordered a pair of Spring Springs for my car. They offer a 2" drop and are cheaper because they are American Made. The ride is very close to that of the Eibachs, much firmer than H&Rs. You can get them for $141 shipped from www.ImpactParts.com , and they can also give you a great deal on the Spring/KYB setup (around $450). Nopi.com sells the springs for $179 + shipping, so Impact Parts has a great deal going. Just trying to help .

I have the Progress

I have the Progress Springs on 17's with low pro tires....I love them....dont have to worry about bumps but low enough to eliminate the "gap"...only thing to watch out for is parking curbs.....seems to handle better w/o much difference in ride quality.
