Hi. I want my dashboard to have "brushed aluminum" but I know someone who painted it on themselves in a Honda and it looked 10x better than the kit. My question is what kind of paint do I need, is it a pain to do, and any other tips (such as preparation) would be appreciated.

Thanks
RJP

Dave B has painted his with "aluminum" paint and it looks excellent. He's out of town, but I think he'll be back Monday, might want to PM him and see if he has any pointers.

I think dave b

used interior paint that he got at a local auto parts shop..pepboys or autozone.it does look pretty good, I thought it was a kit...he has had it painted for a long time too....
