I put a switch in to bypass the resistor thing in my tranny to make it shift harder. It's awesome! I already have the VB mod from Don and with this on there as well, the car shifts like a true 5-speed. I used it 3 or 4 times getting on the highway but I will now only use it for the strip.
1-2 shift squeals the tires LOUD, 2-3 doesn't squeal but there is absolutely NO hesitation between gears. I don't know exactly how much it hurts the tranny but it's great to have. Anyone know a lot about transmissions and the effect it has on it shifting at full pressure every shift?

I don't mind it to much since I know what the cause is. I probably reset it from time to time since I'm not using the switch as much now. That way I'll be able to tell if something else is wrong.

Is there a how-to for this mod? Do I need the vb upgrade to use it?

is their a way i can put resistors to the wire so it doesn't shift as hard, but yet has a crisp transaction between shifts?

Safe Eh?

Does anyone know if this mod is safe like the VB mode? Will this mod extend the life of the tranmission or destroy it? Thanks all.
