I was wondering if anyone else has had Micheline Energy MXv4's? What kind of mileage did you get before they went bald? I have some that have about 20k miles on them, and they are almost bald, I give it about 3k more miles before they go completly bald.

They should last longer than that, but it depends on proper inflation and driving style.
You should look into Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 as a replacement. They are a great tire and they only cost $75each from tirerack. I've had these tires for over 10k miles and they are great - wet and dry traction (snow isn't that great)
Just keep them inflated at the right pressure and do it when the tire is cold.

I just got some
I just had some. I am now driving on MICH Energy MXV4's plus and they are a much smoother tire. I am on a 215/55/16 demensions. I must say in the winter the only possible thing worse in the snow then these tires wouild be a road bicycle. If u are getting the,m for a summer tire they are ideal! AWESOME on handleing, rarely squeak, and the ride is good for its size (55). Just stay away from rain/snow then you'll know you got some slipper tires =D
Any more ?'s just ask!

PS. Tread life was good on them. WHen i bought the car they had about 3/5 tread life left and i drove 15,000 miles beofre they were bald!

I had them on my max when I got it. They didn't have alot of tread on them to start with(I'd have to say 30% or less) and I got a good 15-20K out of them. I really liked them to as far as all-weather handling. I would have replaced them but my sister gave me some Yohkahoma's with about 85% of the tread left. What do you do? My be you did get a bad set or somthing!? Maybe have them checked out? MY2CENTS

If I were you, I would get 2 of the same tires. From what everone else is saying, they are pretty good tires, just not on my car for some odd reason. My dad has then on his S500 and he has about 40k miles on then and they still arent bald yet, and I guess now that I have been thinking about it, I have spinned my tires quiet a bit, plus my transmission is messed up so when I punch it, it stalls (slips) and grabs at about 5k rpm and does a burn out.
