Is there an ECU diagram in one of the Haynes or Chilton's manuals?

This is what I am looking for:
Wire Colors -
a. The color of the speed sensor
b. The color of the Parking Brake

Thanks in advance.

Speed sensor is PINK with a BLUE stripe. It's on the right half of the plug as you look at it when plugged in. I'll have to lookup the E-brake when I get home....

Yes. See Haynes, page 12-26. Every Maxima owner who wants to repair or modify his Maxima needs a manual. If you don't already have one, go and buy a copy. It will be money well spent.

Terminal 29 on connector F101 (the Engine Control Module) has a pink with blue tracer wire.

You may be interested to read Ben Garner's post on the General Maxima Discussion forum which mentions this same wire. Go to http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....&postid=387438

I don't see any Engine Control Module connection for the handbrake.

I know the manuals are key and I have been trying to pick one up from a parts store instead of ordering from the web.

I have read Ben's thread also but I might just have to order a Haynes manual from the web because I can never find one at Pep Boys or Autozone.

Thanks for the response.

Get one any way you can. Anybody who is serious about their car, and I know you are, needs a manual. The only guys who don't need a manual are the Queeners.

"Queeners" Good one! I just signed up with AllData.com so now I am getting the info I need. I forgot all about that website until Medicsonic gave me the link last night.
