my buddy is saleing his 2 year old konig monsoons (16in) for 100 with the tires, because he got into a accident with his 90 maxi SE, but parts of the rims has this clear plastic covering and it is peeling, is that not good or can i do something to restore it, i got on my maxi which is a gle those ugly 15in. gle wheels, thanks

 

There's some wheel refinishing shops. Surf the web a bit. There's a few guys out there. Some even have an exchange program. Also a good body shop near you might take on the job.
