I'm having some trouble with the interior lights on the buttons on the A/C, stereo, etc...I was wondering if someone could suggest something.

Last year, a local radio repair company "fixed" my Bose CD player. After I got my car back, I noticed that at night, all the buttons on my CD player, A/C controls, Harzard Light switch, and Rear Defogger no longer light up when I turn my headlights on. The glove box light, and the passenger Window Switch light do, however, work. According to the Haynes manual, these lights are pretty much connected to the same circuit as the broken lights. So, I don't think it's a fuse.

I've pulled off most of the center console to debug this. I've verified that 12V is going to each of the failing components. This voltage varies whenever I turn the interior lighting dimmer switch. So, it looks like they're getting power. If it were just one bulb, I would just say it was burned out. However, with all of these different lights out, it seems to be something else. I just don't understand why they're not on if they have the right voltage applied to them. Is there also a "light enable" line that accompanies the voltage? The Haynes manual does not include a pinout of any of the connectors I need to look at, so I'm not sure what else is there.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
