I noticed that when I took the emblem off the front of my car there were two pins that stick into the grill. Is that the same case for the rear? Will I have a bunch of little holes in my trunk when I pull those emblems off? I want to shave the rear, but was not sure about those holes. thanks T

No holes in the trunk. The rear emblems are attached with double sided tape.

Dental floss, yes, i know, i doubted it first too, but try it. Use it like you were flossing your teeth and then get some adhesive remover and wax clean...

Whoa...
New way huh?
I juss put a card in there and ripped it off.
and I carefully shaved the big parts of tape with the knife, and then used the nailpolish remover to ruboff the left overs.. I heard the nail polish damages your car though..

Take a blow dryer and use that before you start flossing it. Heating it up like that makes it much easier to come off.

yep , then just rub off the left overs with your fingers, polish and wax that baby till its perfect....

To get them back on , you just use the double sided tape, and then make sure you measure it all out good... but if you have a 97-99 or if you get the 97-99 letters, i think they are all connected to each other, which should make it easier to line up.

p.s. the NISSAN emblem is really hard to get off , make sure you heat that sucker up for a while, then use the fishing line or floss and "saw" through it. It takes some time, but it looks nicest when done right.

3M

I used a Wagner heat gun. The emblems just fell off with a slight tug.
To reattach you can either use 3M double sided tabe or 3M Emblem glue. Emblem glue works wonders.
