Intermittent electrical failure on RR door

97 SE 5 speed, all factory options. Purchased used 2 weeks ago.
Having intermittent electrical failure on right rear door. Window won't operate from drivers switch or the one on the door. Can't hear relay clicking inside. Power locks won't operate. A couple of good whacks on the panel or closing the door seems to make it work temporarily.
Have the Haynes and could probably figure it out, but still pretty new to repairs. Thinking it's a loose connection. Any help appreciated.
