To all interested in removing the hamburger from the trunk deck lid. Try Dental Floss. Works awsome. Takes about one minute, then just rub off the gummy stick pad and polish.

Nope, just the floss. Looks awsome!!! The sticky stuff was a pain to get off, just rub it with your fingernail a bit and then a good cleaner/wax when your done.

Alex, did your buddies like the tails??

yeah Tom they love them. I'm gonna go floss the hamburger right now! I'm thinking about putting red bulbs in the tails instead of amber so they blink red. im not sure though, i might as well try, bulbs cost like 2 dollars a piece.

a note for those reading this: your car must be warm for this to work well i.e. out in the sun for a while to heated to make the hamburger come off easily

Ha! I think we should start refering to "shaved trunk emblem" as "Flossed burger" from now on.

Flossy! hehe...had to say it, thats the first thing I thought when I saw the msg...

Are all the emblems on the rear of the 95-96s the same way, ala no holes, just glued on? Curious, want to know my options if I decide to go completely bare on the back...

I also "flossed the burger" or shaved the Nissan emblem off and just left the Maxima emblem on and it looks nice. I have the red Polarg signal bulbs in the rear with Polarg hyper white 194 bulbs in the rear corners that alternate with the red when I signal, not many people have their rear bulbs set up like that.

Sounds very cool. How did you do that mod?

Ok, it's simple if you already know how to make the front signal alternate with the side bumper light, it's the same setup in the rear. Treat the rear corner as if it were the front side bumper light. If you don't know how to make the front alternate, there is a write-up on Cheston's site (www.maximadriver.com) and you should be able to use those directions for the rear.
