Diamond Cut Clears Melting????

i just heard on another post that the Polarg lights will melt the Diamond Cut Clear corners because they run hotter then OEM...has this happened to anyone?...how can i prevent it from happening cause i just bought the bulbs and i have the clears and i was gonna put them in until i read that...please help me out

I guess I got lucky. I have that setup, and so does almost everyone on the board and I never heard of any complaints of melting. I guess 9 out 10 times it won't happen, huh?

Got the diamond cuts, got the polargs, haven't had a problem...

Hmm..never heard of that, but my headlight harnesses did melt because of Xenon bulbs. Had to pay $150 to get them fixed.

Whoa! 150?! My harnesses melted but I bought 2 $2.99 replacements and have had no problems since.

don't worry anymore

just to let everyone know...i put the bulbs in today with confindence...i had them on tonite for about 2.5 hours straight...and everything is good...all that worrying for nothing...thanx for everyone who responded

It wouldnt take 2 hours. Its usualy longer, so keep checking. good luck
