Hi guys, one of my friends is trying to buy my car as is. Right now I'm in a bit of a predicament anyways because my car does not fit in the garage of my new place. I've seriously thought of selling him mine and buying another stock Maxima SE 5Spd (and leaving it stock for a while to save some money). What do you think is a reasonable price to sell it for. I have over $8500 in retail value worth of mods. The car is a fully loaded 97 SE 5Spd with 61K miles.

Also I might be needing to buy a small cheap pickup truck in the near future to handle some work I'll be doing, so the extra money might come in handy. What do you think my options are for parting out and selling stock? This car is in pristine condition for a 97.

What do you mean your car doesn't fit in the garage? And a stock max would?

All I know is you've put some serious effort and $$$ into that sweet ride and I'm sure that a stock max wouldn't satisfy you. I'd seriously rethink selling her. And when you talk $$$ you also have to think about the install costs, even if you did a lot yourself.

Yeah good point about the installs.

About the not fitting:

The idiots at the complex installed a parking stone to guide idiot drivers so they don't crash through the wall, but my car does not clear the parking stone, and my car's rear end sticks out of the garage too much if I just goto the parking stone and stop. I need to move about 3" in furthur which requires me to raise the car and remove the lip. I tried reversing it in, but then my greddy hits the parking stone.

They won't remove it either.

So will they not remove it themselves or will they not let you remove it or both. If they just wont move it, then just break it up or cut a notch for the greddy or whatever. If they wont let you remove it, get or make some small ramps to drive up onto the stone. So is this stone designed for normal cars to pull up to until their tires hit it?? I have never seen what you are talking about. I would also reconsider selling your ride. That is one nice car! I only dream of my Maxima looking like that. I would really try to work this out before selling the car. Good luck!

Ramps is a great idea, I will look into it totally, however I won't conclude that my final option. I think it might actually work though.

Thanks!

Yeah, I would really reconsider selling that sweet @$$ car. You should try the ramps, and if it works out good, just keep the car, its not worth selling it.
