I few days ago I noticed an oily substance on and around one of my rims. Upon closer evaluation, I realized my left front strut is basically shot. Everytime it compresses it squirts out mad fluid. Do I need to replace all 4 struts? or just one. If I have to replace all of them, Id prob go w Konis or something that would lower my car a bit. If so, would i need springs too? Please help, thanks for the advice

If one front strut is shot the other can't be in really good condition. If you were to replace only the bad one your front suspension would be unbalanced. Therefore I suggest you replace both front struts.

Struts need to be replaced in pairs. So if you do the left front, you also do the right front. Same for the rear. If your car has some miles on it, might be time for all 4 anyhow. If you do the springs (lower it) then you definately need to do all 4.
